The Grays Harbor Emergency Medical Services and Trauma Care Council (GHEMS) is a private non-profit agency with a mission to train and coordinate pre-hospital providers in Grays Harbor and North Pacific Counties. We work under the guidance of our Medical Program Director, Dr. Daniel Canfield, D.O. and a volunteer Board and Council whose membership is made up of representatives of Fire Department and Districts, along with Law Enforcement, Emergency Services, Hospitals, and interested citizens. Additionally, the Grays Harbor EMS is an American Heart Association Training Center with regular offerings of CPR and First Aid classes to the public and private groups.
Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Grays Harbor EMS and Trauma Care Council to provide
leadership in the planning, coordinating and development of emergency health
services and injury prevention throughout Grays Harbor and North Pacific
County.
Vision Statement
It is the vision of the Grays Harbor EMS and Trauma Care Council to recognize the
challenges of providing emergency health services and injury prevention
and proactively meet those challenges throughout Grays Harbor and North
Pacific County.
